The leadership class at Santee Education Complex took charge of the-green-heart project.  Students created a special stage with a green runner leading to the heart wall.  The runner invited viewers with the message: "Follow the footsteps to your heart."  Colorful spot lights surrounded the-green-heart creating a different vibe surrounding the heart wall.  The installation was a great success.  Students painted a small green heart that they carried with them throughout the campus to gather more participants in other classes.  The posts exceeded the surrounding wall so posts were hung from the rafters.  Over the course of the semester, the stage was extended and the-green-heart became the backdrop of a student fashion show.
